Sodium Bicarbonite (baking soda)

Directions: Per gallon of water add ¼ lb. of salt and 1 oz. of baking soda. Skins should be quickly rinsed in plain water. Let drain for 10 minutes. Place the skins in the Neutralization bath (salt and baking soda) for 30 minutes. Gently stir every 10 minutes. Pull skins, rinse with plain water and drain for 30 minutes. A spin cycle and or towels may be used to remove excess moisture.
